PHILOSOPHY OF “SMARTSWIMMING”
Swim. Breath. Dream.
Wellbeing in the water is the most important thing from the beginning. Let’s enjoy your swimming from your first steps!! Having fun is so easy!
As mothers, as women, as instructors, we have noticed that some children are reluctant to come to the pool sessions. Many of them leave the pools early, sometimes just for a while but sometimes they never return because of their first experiences with water. That's why we reinveted the concept of swimming lessons for all ages. We called it "experience-based swimming lessons" - SMARTSWIMMING. SMARTSWIMMING is a progressive pedagogical program. Skills of children and adults are improved based on positive reinforcement. The programme is customized to each individual so that they can reach their personal goal of swimming for pleasure in the most comfortable way. In this way, success is guaranteed, children and adults with different dynamics can spend their time in the pool having fun. Our aim is to see happy and healthy children in the pools and to make swimming a joyful part of everyday life for adults too. Also, to create an appropriate technical and pedagogical base and even the entry into the elite world of watersports.
Goals ● make it fun and enjoyable for children and adults to participate in lessons ● to achieve the flow experience ● stress-free, enjoyable, meaningful sessions ● team building ● to make swimming a natural and easy way for children and adults, similar to walking (swimming 100-1000 meter with ease and joy, depending on age, using the various techniques of swimming acquired) ● the high-level swimming techniques learned here can be an entry point to the elite world of water sports
Methodology | individual, mini-groups and group lessons
● customized individual lessons are based on your schedule and goals ● mini-groups with 2-3 participants, so families, couples of friends can attend the training together ● group classes : we teach in homogeneous groups of 4-10 people depending on age and skills ● principle of progressivity - well-focused foundation, gradual technical build-up, self-development based on self-motivation, ● teamwork - cooperation ● sharing knowledge ● partnership, intensive communication with children and parents ● CONFIDENCE with "water", instructors, coaches, each other ● underwater work is highlighted, watched, filmed, photographed, reviewed, discussed ● there are treats for improvement and praise ● kinetic and proprioceptive development (conscious body awareness) ● rewards - age-appropriate little surprises (divig toys, badge, sticker, cap, t-shirt...) ● mid-year play competitions (in-house competitions, relays, etc.) ● progress diary, motivation card/feedback for children and parents to keep track of progress ● free “Fun-day” every month/week, where the joy of free playing combined with the constructive and cohesive power of community can affect the “Wellbeing” feeling of life.
I would like to make creativity a part of the educational process in an innovative way for all ages, from beginner to elite level. My goal: to achieve well-being while learning how to move, so that high-level technical acquisition of swimming techniques is an easy and lovable process, making swimming a natural process similar to walking. I started teaching swimming in 2015 because I fascinated by the connection between human existence and water, the biomechanics of swimming movements, and the pedagogical and psychological methodology of the educational process for different age groups. I graduated from the University of Physical Education as an OKJ swimming coach and also completed a BSC as a sports manager I am currently a student of TE completing an MSC course. I have been working as a photographer, graphic designer and online content developer for 25 years. Teaching swimming is not just a hobby for me but a life mission.
I currently work in the V8 Swimming Pool in Leányfalu, Szentendre and also around the Danube Bend area. NEW! During the pandemic, swimming lessons were started in our own normal and counter-current pools. Individual swimming training has started, which includes 1-2 contact swimming training per week, or swimming lessons plus a permanent training plan and a preparation plan. On the basis of this you can practise in the swimming pool closest to you. The online training diary and video analyzes support your preparation as well.
